Salary Calculator

Enter a monthly salary to see deductions, net pay and employer cost for each month, assuming the same salary is paid throughout the year. Because income tax brackets depend on the tax base accumulated during the year, net pay varies from month to month.

Severance and Notice Pay Calculator

Severance pay is paid to an employee who has worked for at least one year and leaves for one of the reasons listed in the Labour Law. Notice pay is paid by the party that ends the contract without observing the notice period.

Assumptions

  • The salary calculation assumes that the employee works the full month, is not retired and does not use the disability allowance; incentives and additional payments such as meal and transport allowances are not taken into account.
  • The income tax and stamp duty exemption for the minimum wage portion is applied every month. SGK premiums are not calculated on the part of the salary above the premium base ceiling of 297,270.00 TRY.
  • The wage used for severance pay is capped at the severance pay ceiling valid on the termination date, and only stamp duty is deducted from severance pay.
  • The notice period is taken as 2, 4, 6 or 8 weeks depending on length of service. If part of the minimum wage exemption remains unused in the last month's salary, it may be applied to notice pay; this calculation does not take it into account.

These tools are for general information and preliminary calculation only; the results do not replace an official payroll or legal opinion. Exact amounts may vary depending on the employee's payroll history, incentive status and how the employment ended. You can find the 2026 amounts used in the calculations on the Key Figures page.
