Payroll and Social Security

Maintaining your employees' social security records, making notifications on time and preparing payrolls on a regular basis.

About the Service

Every employer with staff is obliged to submit notifications about its employees to the Social Security Institution (SGK) within set deadlines.

From your workplace's registration with SGK onwards, we handle employment start and termination notifications, monthly payrolls and premium service declarations in line with Social Insurance and General Health Insurance Law No. 5510 and related legislation. Making notifications on time helps avoid the risk of administrative fines.

We also regularly monitor the social security premium incentives and support schemes available to you, and apply on behalf of employees who meet the conditions.

Frequently Asked Questions

When should the employment start notification be submitted?

As a general rule, the employment start notification must be submitted before the employee starts work. Different deadlines apply in some sectors. All you need to do is let us know in advance when you are hiring someone new.

What happens if notifications are late?

SGK may impose administrative fines for notifications that are not made on time. We aim to minimise this risk by tracking notification dates on a calendar.

Which incentives can I benefit from?

Available incentives depend on criteria such as the employee's age, gender and length of unemployment, as well as the region and sector of the workplace. We assess the incentives suitable for your workplace and employees and make the applications.

Do you calculate severance and notice pay?

Yes. When an employment contract ends, we calculate severance pay, notice pay and payment for unused annual leave based on the employee's length of service and salary details.
