About the Service
Starting with the right company type directly affects your tax burden, your liabilities and your future growth opportunities.
Before formation, we assess your field of activity, shareholding structure and goals together and determine the company type that suits you. We then follow every step, from drafting the articles of association and trade registry registration to tax office registration and SGK workplace registration.
After formation, we also support you with procedures such as change of address, capital increase, share transfer, opening a branch, change of company type and liquidation.
Company Types

Frequently Asked Questions
How long does company formation take?
If the documents are complete, trade registry registration is usually completed within a few business days. The total time may vary with the tax office inspection and other registrations.
Which documents are required?
The basic documents are the shareholders' identity details, a lease agreement or title deed for the business premises, and a signature declaration. Additional documents may be needed depending on the company type and shareholding structure; we share a list specific to you at the initial meeting.
Should I set up a sole proprietorship or a limited company?
This depends on your expected level of profit, the number of shareholders, your preference regarding liability and your growth plans. We compare the tax and cost differences of both options with you.
Can I convert my existing sole proprietorship into a company?
Yes. A sole proprietorship can be transferred to a capital company in accordance with the conditions set out in the legislation. We assess the appropriate method and its tax consequences together.
Can foreign nationals set up a company in Turkey?
Yes. Under Foreign Direct Investment Law No. 4875, foreign individuals and companies can set up limited and joint-stock companies, or become shareholders in them, on the same terms as Turkish investors. Living in Turkey is not required to be a shareholder. The additional documents needed are listed on our Required Documents page.
